FATS FIXED ASSET
TRACKING SOFTWARE FACTOIDS
FATS uses the TEK RFID scanner which snaps on to a Palm Tungsten
C. RFID TAGS are read just like barcodes.
FATS uses industry standard 125Khz, 134.2Khz or
13.56Mhz RFID tags, including those developed by: TAGSYS , Microchip , Philips
, Texas Instruments , Sokymat , and Infineon .
One of the most common uses of FATS is to track an inventory of PC computers. Keeping up with a PC Inventory using FATS and barcodes is a snap !
The FATS Fixed Asset Tracking System Software includes asset tracking software, barcode labels (either paper or pre-printed Mylar barcode labels) and portable scanners. The FATS System can be used for asset management, asset inventory, as well as asset tracking.
It can be used to track a computer inventory (computer inventory tracking), tracking PC inventory, tracking of furniture, test equipment, laptop computers, portable computers, medical equipment, etc..
Although the Asset Tracking Software is NOT FREE Fixed Asset Tracking Software it is low cost when compared to other software. There is a FREE demo download.
FATS is being used by universities, schools, colleges, government, federal credit unions, industry, to track PC computer inventory, personal computers, routers, DSU, laptops, portable, and other types of computer equipment.
It provides a high level of Fixed Asset Management by allowing location barcodes to be used for keeping track of asset locations.
It provides multiple methods of tracking fixed assets by using either paper forms of lased barcode scanners.
The FATS Fixed Asset Tracking System does Fixed Asset Inventory and also allows inventory counting. Inventory Asset Tracking is easy with FATS - the asset inventory can either be single items or multiple items using the Simple Inventory add on module.
With FATS you can print your own barcode labels using off-the-shelf paper labels or you can print polyester labels with your laser scanner. The Avery Polyester label stock can be purchased at an office supply company near you.
FATS works with several different models of portable barcode laser scanners and touch scanners including several models by Videx and Symbol. The Symbol SPT 1500, Symbol SPT 1700, SPT 1800 scanners are actually a Palm Pilot with a built in laser bar code scanner. SPT1500, SPT1700, SPT1800
FATS can track up to 500,000 assets and has the ability to calculate depreciation for your entire asset inventory, which makes it a solution for your GASB 34 requirements. FATS can help with GASB34, GASB 34, and GASB35, GASB 35 government reporting
The new SQL version of FATS uses Microsoft SQL Server to store asset data and can be accessed from remote locations over the internet.
